Mountain Crossings is located on the Appalachian Trail at the base of Blood Mountain… this 1937 building is the only place where the trail goes under the building (covered breezeway). The outfitter and gift shop is an iconic treasure known around the world. It is also the backdrop of the award winning book “Just Passin Thru” by Winton Porter. Located 12 miles from the property.
