「Kushimotokaityukouen」Aquarium of the sea Sea of the Ramsar Convention １９７１年、イランのカスピ海湖畔の町ラムサールで採択された、「特に水鳥の生息地として国際的に重要な湿地に関する条約」。日本の登録湿地は１３カ所だったが、今回の締約会議で串本を含め、サロベツ原野（北海道）、三方五湖（福井県）など２０カ所が加わる。
