Polly’s Cove Trail is a short coastal trail adjacent to the historic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. The trail offers beautiful views of the ocean, including numerous look-offs and cliff views, as well as unique views of the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in the distance, and is home to a number of abandoned war bunkers.

Polly’s Cove Trail is a short coastal trail adjacent to the historic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. The trail offers beautiful views of the ocean, including numerous look-offs and cliff views, as well as unique views of the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in the distance, and is home to a number of abandoned war bunkers. The trail is fairly easy to follow and visitors are encouraged to stay on path so as not to disrupt the sensitive surrounding flora and fauna. The trail can be followed all the way to Peggy’s Cove and is suitable for year round use, however caution should be taken in the winter when snowfall levels are high and along the coastal edge. Parking Information: Two small roadside lots are available off of Prospect Road, the trail begins directly in front of each lot.
