This community-centric grocer serves up gourmet breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. Locals contribute apples from their heritage apple trees to the store every year, which is made into a "community cider". Take a bottle home!

An absolute favorite and hub of the local area (We go there multiple times a week), this cafe and grocery is owned and run by Brooklyn transplants Jenny and Craig. They have a passion for reviving local history and roots, especially around the culture of heirloom apples and ciders: thus the name Golden Russet. They have a great breakfast and lunch selection, including grilled banana bread, a stellar fried chicken sandwich, and rotating seasonal salads and specials. Vegetarian options also available. Can't recommend highly enough.

Love their fried chicken sandwich and the burger is solid. Great for breakfast. Everything they make is good. One of the best hard cider selections I've seen.
