A magnificent beach with an authentic natural pool of crystal clear water, without waves but quite cold. Great for families because it has several beach supports that come in handy like public bathrooms, a restaurant with several gastronomic options and the possibility to rent a beach hat. It is a very quiet beach, because cars cannot drive along the beach.

Urban Beach, really clean and easy to get to from the city center, perfect for a river walk by the morning or the sunset. In the low tide you can walk from Parque Urbano de Abarquel.

Para quem quer apenas mergulhar e voltar para casa ao sol posto,têm 30 minutos até estar na água é uma optima opção,com cafés,restaurantes de precos acessíveis e casas de banho publicas. Pode ser um ponto de partida para caminhar pela beira da água até a praia dos Galapinhos,vale a pena conhecer,durante o verão a Câmara disponibiliza autocarros constantes para fazer o transporte entre todas as praias fa Serra da arrabida pois de carro apenas chega ate a figueirinha,outra praia que na maré baixa revela um extenso areal acessivel para quem nada bem. For those who just want to dive and return home in the sun, having 30 minutes to be on the water is a great option, with cafes, affordable restaurants and public bathrooms. It can be a starting point for walking along the water's edge to the Galapinhos beach, it is worth knowing, during the summer the City Council provides constant buses to make the transport between all the beaches of Serra da arrabida, because by car it only reaches until figueirinha, another beach that at low tide reveals an extensive sandy beach accessible to those who swim well.
