Enter Eyre Rd off Ridge Rd, Mount Dandenong and follow the track. Truly the best view and it's free! Go just before dusk, bring a rug to sit on and settle in to watch Melbourne light up. Magic.

Burkes Lookout is one of the 'must do's'' of the Dandenong Ranges. See the lights of Melbourne below you. The best time is sunset. RUG up, it can be very cold. Osprey Rd, Mount Dandenong, via Range Rd.

Mount Dandenong is a great place to visit by car. There are some great walks as well as nice places for a bite or drink. The 1000 steps is a good walk starting at the base. Get there early for a park!! My fav spot is Burkes Lookout. Its a bit of a secret and can be hard to find but if you do go there you will be rewarded with the best views of Melbourne.

A hidden gem - it's a very narrow track along the side of Mount Dandenong to a spot to watch the sunset. For hikers only.
