Splurge on a $$$ but most delicious cup of freshly poured coffee and delicious nibbles in this famous coffee restaurant located in the restored 18th century palace of the Glaoui (the Moroccan governor during the French occupation. Besides the coffee, you can enjoy the exquisite mosaic zellige tile and carved wood throughout the patio areas. It really is worth it!

Built in Marrakech in 1910, the spectacular Dar el Bacha Palace was a meeting place for great minds. It was here that the intellectuals, cultural actors and eminent politicians of the century gathered for a Moka coffee, the famous Arabica coffee. Nearly 60 years after closing its doors, the Dar El Bacha reopened its doors in 2019 thanks to the incredible renovation work undertaken by the National Museums Foundation. One of the courtyards is home to Bacha coffee, a refined place where you can enjoy one of the 200 à la carte coffees, served hot or iced, accompanied by whipped cream or frothy milk. Serve with one of the delicious pastries on offer. Note, to access the Bacha Coffee, it is mandatory to pay the entrance to the museum, open every day from 9.30 am to 7 pm, 50 dh.

Right around the corner is the Cafe Dar el Bacha in the Musee des Confluences. The building itself is worth a visit and they have the largest selection of coffee I've ever seen, incredibly delicious cakes and the overall ambiance is very special! The entrance is also the entrance to the museum - right on the corner where you enter the souks.
