It is quite popular in the area due to the large population of Catholics, to have a fish fry on Friday evenings. Although more common during the Lenten season (late winter early spring), you may be lucky enough to stumble across one in your travels. My absolute favorite is held at St. Brendan’s on Youngstown’s west side.
