If you are lucky to climb on a clear sunny day and clear sky, this is the place to have the most spectacular and 360 ° view not only of the city but also of all the Alps! The new Palace of the Lombardy Region is open to the public for almost all Sundays (before checking their page with information on the openings) and allows to climb the 39th floor to the belvedere (161 meters high) and admire the whole city in all its majesty. - 4,4Km on foot (56 minutes) - Or M3 YELLOW for 7 stops (25 minutes)

This award-winning building complex (the seat of the Lombard Regional Council) features a 161-metre high skyscraper with 39 floors, which until recently made it the highest building in Milan. A great place for a birds-eye view of the city, on its top you'll also see a copy of the famous Virgin Mary statue 'Madonnina,' which was placed here in 2010 to protect all Milanese from its position up-high. Tips : Admission is free and you don’t need to book in advance. "Il Forno di Via Pola," a nearby bakery, is well worth a visit. Plan to stay: 1-2 hours
