Good if your kids are a little older (3 years plus). They can steer the boat and get a little fishing net to collect trash and help keep the canals clean.

Wanna go by boat by yourself? The copenhagen habour is easy to navigate and GoBoat has nice electric boats for a reasonable price. Bring a bottle of rosé and enjoy the sun. You dont have to be an experienced sailor, it's as easy as the boats in Tivoli.

The harbor and the canals of Copenhagen are perfect places to spend a few hours, enjoy a drink, take in the sights - especially if you’re actually on the water. There are a few different operators of boat rentals, but the idea is the same. Book a time slot, bring a bag of snacks and drinks (not too many of the latter, mind you) and become captain for a day. No guide or experience needed. The boats are slow and (relatively) easy to maneuver. One of our favorite things to do when hosting friends from out of town. Bring a sweater!

I can recommend renting a boat on a sunny day! It’s so much fun going around the city, you can stop by for a dip. Remember to take some picnic snacks with you :)
