This is a nice sandy beach and there's a lighthouse museum, restrooms and concession. Water is fast moving here as it's where the lake first begins to empty into the river so we don't recommend swimming here but dipping your legs in is refreshing! This park hosts a lot of events like Art Shows, BBQ, fundraisers, sand castle competitions--there's always something going on. No dogs allowed on the beach, or any beaches in Michigan sadly.

This is the closest full beach. It is nice and relaxing and very close to the bridge and lighthouse.
