The Vermont Nature Trail takes you through lush rainforest with an amazing variety of tropical flora, ending up with beautiful scenery and a chance to see the famous St. Vincent Parrot in its natural habitat. Majestic cliffs reach for the sky, giving way to sweeping valleys.

This is an eco trip. Wear your sneakers, not sandals, prepare for a hike and a few missteps. You have to be better at this than I was and I loved it three times so far. Hope you can see the local parrots on your visit to this Leeward location.

This trail starts near the top of Buccament Valley and Leads through tropical rainforest. Here you will see our endangered national bird – the St Vincent parrot in their natural habitat. It is also home to the common black hawk, cocoa Thrush, Crested Hummingbird, Green Heron and Redcapped Green Tanger. This trail is approximately 5km long and leads you through a trail of rainforest and hundred-year-old trees which are the oldest on our island! 5 EC per person donation is requested
