Situated close to the main centre of Tairua, Diamond Retreat is a newly refurbished, modern self contained studio separate from the owners home. Tairua is a small beachside community with lovely cafes and restaurants only a 5 minute walk from here. 2 Hours S.E. of Auckland Tairua is a great town to base yourself to see the main attractions of the Coromandel. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove within a 30 minute drive.We have a beautiful safe harbour, a surf beach and great fishing and diving.

Famous Hot Water beach, and Cathedral Cove are thirty minutes away

Perched on a slope of Mount Paku, this private apartment offers 2 bedrooms, living room with fully equipped kitchenette and plenty of outdoor space with sweeping views in every direction. Only 2 min drive (15 min hike) to the beach or 5-10 min walk up to the famous Paku summit. Or venture out to town for some local crafts and a cosy dinner. Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush.
