The Cozy Cottage by the Lake

This sweet, unique, tiny house is located on Pigeon Lake, just 15 minutes from Shipshewana and the heart of Amish country, and 55 minutes from Notre Dame! It is beautiful in any season, and offers a quiet retreat for families or friends. Guests have lake access, and the public boat launch nearby. Paddle boat, kayaking, and fishing from the pier at the house are all available from this property. (Fishing gear not provided) After a day in Shipshewana, relax in the outdoor porch and fire pit area!

The Cozy Nest is an adorable three-bedroom, pet-friendly cottage with amazing views of a quiet, no-wake lake. Enjoy the stunning view while your cares melt away in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your use. Fiber optic wifi will keep you connected. There are two bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as a canoe, 3 kayaks, and paddle boat to use on the water. Shipshewana is a quick 15-mile drive away through beautiful Amish countryside.

Take a bike ride or a peaceful walk on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail less than 2 miles away. Nestled in the heart of Amish country, enjoy the buggies passing by!

Cottages on Sand Lake - The Cozy Cottage

Cozy two bedroom cottage with a view. Deck right off living room to enjoy the view of the lake. Paddle boat, row boats, paddle boards and kayaks provided. Lake trampoline also. Sand Lake County Park located two blocks away to put your boat in. This is a classic Michigan inland lake, 102 acres, all sports with great fishing. The Cozy Cottage is one of five properties we rent out and is close to another cottage which are both located directly on the water.

Bird’s Nest Air BnB

Keeping it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located family farm. Within two miles of the famous Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market, Blue Gate Restaurant and Performing Arts Center. The Michiana Event Center which is also Located in Shipshewana has many attractions. We are located in the middle of a small, quiet farming community with all Amish neighbors, so be ready to listen to the clipclop of horses going by. Enjoy the peaceful country sunsets.

Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this peaceful lake.

Only 15 minutes from Shipshewana Trading Place which is home to the midwest's largest flea market, beautiful Pumpkinvine Nature Trail amid Amish inspired shops and cuisine. Minutes from Indiana toll road exit 121 this quiet wooded setting is a great choice for an extended stay or ideal for a special getaway.

Cabin off 39 - Peaceful, private one bedroom cabin

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Nestled among the trees, it provides a quiet getaway from the chaos of life allowing you to recharge and renew. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.

Outpost Treehouse

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!
