We are ½ a mile NE of Eagle Point Lookout turnoff off Hwy 12 (GMU 16D) and 2.1 miles South of Torette Lake RD turnoff on Hwy 12 (GMU 15). In addition, Reserve Sportman’s Club shooting range is 1.7 miles (road travel) from the cabin. If needed, there is plenty of space on the property to shoot your bow (bring your own targets). Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

Walk out your back gate to the Tonto national Forest and go hiking. Pick up fossils and agate or dig for crystals at diamond point. There is parking for four so no need to worry about your trailer or off road vehicles. We have a gated parking area. There are off road trails right from our street.
