A quiet setting to kickback & relax in. This Cozy and unique 100 year old cabin, has both lake view & lake access to beautiful Paradise Lake. Listen to Loons calling each other in mornings & evenings. We are located at the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula: 6 miles to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Bridge & ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. 2 miles to Northwestern State Trail. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat, tubes, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

Clean cabin with UP NORTH log furniture nestled above the picturesque sunset side of beautiful BLACK LAKE! Black Lake is a 10,000 acre all sports lake. The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

Explore the eastern UP from this outdoor adventure outpost located on 200 private wooded acres! Just down the street from a St. Mary's River boat launch, and quick drive to the Soo. This wooded, secluded cabin has a cozy "up north" feel. Visit the locks, local islands, waterways, and all of the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Hike, fish, hunt, kayak, scuba, bike, snowmobile, boat, view wildlife, or create your own adventures. Bring your boats and gear! (did I mention fishing??) :-)

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Enjoy the beautiful setting at the Balsams. Our unique, rustic log cabins are fully furnished with all the modern amenities. We have a private Lake Michigan beach (across Hwy 2) and several hiking trails on our 40 acres. Relax and enjoy your own fire pit and cook in your own fully equipped kitchen. We are 5 minutes from stores, Mackinac Island ferries, and restaurants. We are close to all UP attractions and yet you will feel like you are in another world of peace and tranquility.

True North Cabin

Newly remodeled one bedroom cabin located in Carp Lake. The cabin is in a residential neighborhood directly off US 31. The cabin is located 6 miles south of Mackinaw City. This property has a shared access to Paradise Lake which is located at the intersection of Wheeling Road and Paradise Trail ( about a 2 minute walk). The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Conveniently located 6 miles out of Mackinaw City for easy access to Shopping, Mackinac Island ferries, International Dark Sky Park, Wilderness State Park and Sturgeon Bay Beach. The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, fire pit, charcoal grill and yard. Wood fired sauna onsite (Shared with other guests).
