Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The yurt is furnished comfortably with kitchen, dining, seating and sleeping areas, has electricity & a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped. The yurt is not suitable for children due to woodburning stove. The Yurt is self-catering; a continental breakfast is provided.

Idyllic, secluded yurt in the Cornish countryside

Come and stay in our idyllic yurt situated on a working sheep farm near the beautiful beaches of North Cornwall. Ideal for a romantic break or a family holiday the authentic, Mongolian yurt has a Super King size bed and a double futon, wool insulation and a wood burner. Beside the yurt is an ancient cob cottage housing a kitchen and shower room/wc. The yurt is set up for two adults, but can accommodate four people. Children stay for free, additional adults are charged a fee (see below).

The Teasel Yurt

You will find The Teasel Yurt tucked into the side of Selsley Common. The large deck looks out over the Severn Vale and Stroud hills - spectacular in all weather and a great spot for sunset. The yurt itself can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with your bedding and towels provided. There is a wood burner to keep the yurt cosy when it is chilly out and the open air kitchen has a canvas roof, a gas burner, firepit/BBQ, sink and cool box. Your bathroom has a hot shower and compost loo.

This absolutely gorgeous Yurt and Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful secret valley within Brecon Beacons National Park, between the Blorenge and Gilwern Hills, only 3.5 miles away from Abergavenny. The area is known as "Cordell Country" after the author Alexander Cordell, who has written best selling historical novels about the surrounding area and it's natural beauty combined with its former industrial heritage. With use of glass house and seating area in private grounds including woodland and paddocks to view alpacas peacocks and many more animals.
