Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

The Chapter House

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Beautifully converted, airy hideaway near Whitby

Sleights is a gem of a village on the outskirts of Whitby and at the foothills of the Moors. You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

The Studio is nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire moors, surrounded by rolling hills and lush woodlands. This cosy apartment is fully equipped with its own double bedroom, living area, kitchenette, and private outdoor decked patio. Sleights is approximately 3 miles from the quaint seaside town of Whitby, renowned for the gothic novel ‘Dracula’, its stunning Norman Abbey, and delicious fish and chips. This countryside haven is the perfect escape from the rush and stress of city life.

Set in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, on the outskirts of the charming village of Lealholm. 2 Hilltop Cottage is a characterful, rural retreat, ideal for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Lealholm (approx 1 mile away) offers a village shop, pub, cafe and train station. Places to visit nearby include: Whitby, Runswick Bay (Britains best beach 2020), Dalby Forrest with miles of cycle routes and Grosmont the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

Romantic Whitby woodland studio

Our Treetops cabin is centrally heated, en-suite with a stunning outdoor space and fire pit, views through the trees, and sounds of nature all around. Treetops is one of three cabins set in 4 acres of woodland. Individually designed and centrally heated, Treetops has a double bed, a shower room, a kitchenette and a dining/seating area. We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, microwave kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a two gas rings on the porch.

Moorview - Twin bedroom whole property retreat

Moorview is a private one bedroom semi detached whole property with twin beds. Located a short distance from the North Yorkshire moors with easy access to the popular seaside resort of Whitby. Downstairs is an open plan living space featuring a fully fitted kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom. To the front of the property is a cosy decked area for al fresco dining in the sun. Free parking and easy access to rail or bus services available.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Kimberlina Carriage Ravenscar

The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

Rowan Cottage Sleights

Rowan Cottage is a light, bright, three bedroom cottage. The cottage, which was once the village police officer’s station and home, accommodates up to six people and offers beautiful views over the delightful Esk Valley. Rowan cottage sits within the beautiful village of Sleights, nestled between the seaside town of Whitby, and the ever changing North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail.
