Hike to Pena Palace and Mouros Castle or relax on our patio. The Innkeeper's Quarters is connected to the main house, an historic small Inn where our family lives. It has a seperate entrance and patio with kitchen, washer/dryer & two bedrooms. We have a super- friendly Swedish flatcoated retriever who will likely say hello to you!

Quinta Velha, meaning “old farm”, lies in a private forest between Sintra’s old town and the historic monuments perched on the mountain top. In 2020 a significant multi-year renovation project was completed, converting the old stables and summer residence into a modern private family home, deeply respecting all existing historic features. A century old chapel with unique panels of traditional hand-painted tiles and fountain add to the beauty of the natural setting.
