Entering the Piki Grounds, you are surrounded by expansive lawns, ancient Totara trees, native bush and a very old Piki (Fig Tree). Piki Cottage is located approximately five minutes drive to Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach, Estuary & Shops. Ten minutes north is Langs Beach. 1.5 hrs north of Auckland. Tranquil. Secluded. Reviving. Relaxing.

Our bach comes complete with everything needed for a beach holiday, weekend retreat or romantic getaway. An easy 10 minute stroll to local cafe or ten minute drive to Parua Bay cafes, 4 square and gas station and the infamous Parua Bay Tavern. Access to the Bach is down a short but moderately steep bush track(see photo).

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.
