Den Gästen steht die gesamte mittlere Etage zur alleinigen Verfügung. Die untere Etage wird vom Eigentümer zeitweise bewohnt, solange keine Gäste anwesend sind. Außerdem steht den Gästen das gesamte Gründstück (ca. 1 Hektar) zur Verfügung. Dieses ist vollständig eingezäunt. Hier liegt auch ein Schwimmteich, welcher im Sommer zum Baden einlädt. Der mit Holz beheizbare Badezuber und die Fasssauna stehen ebenfalls ausschließlich den Gästen zur Verfügung. Die Ferienwohnung sowie das gesamte Grundstück gehört ganz allein ihnen. Der Feissenhof liegt knapp zwei Kilometer ausserhalb von Schönwald. In Schönwald finden sich alle Einrichtungen des täglichen Bedarfs und die Touristinformation. Im nördlichen Nachbarort Triberg befinden sich Deutschlands höchste Wasserfälle sowie ein Bahnhof mit Anschluss an die Schwarzwaldbahn. Instagraam: #feissenhof Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist der Hof vergleichsweise schlecht erreichbar. Holz für Badezuber und Sauna ist ausreichend vorhanden und im Preis inbegriffen.
