Huna Atu (hidden away)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful, spacious studio room with queen bed and en-suite. Sit on your private deck and listen for the native Tui that love the large "strawberry" trees, and watch the playful Piwakawaka (fantail) flitting from tree to tree. Enjoy a short walk to the beautiful clear waters of the lake, or the popular local bar/restaurant for some refreshments. There is a local (free) tennis court for a game of tennis or pickleball (racquets and paddles available on request)

Your room includes a super king bed, couch, a kitchenette and a coffee machine. The space has its own entrance for added privacy, and you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Please note: a friendly dog lives upstairs— you will hear the occasional patter of paws. Located 3 minutes drive from town, it’s a great base to enjoy everything Taupo has to offer.

The two bedroom cottage has a separate lounge area with a well stocked kitchenette, heat pump and large deck plus a private patio. Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.
