This UP diamond in the rough is located in the old mining community of Nort' Lake; once a bustling and rustling proud community (Circa Late 1800's). Now, a quiet neighborhood ideal for bicyclist, hunters, fishing enthusiast and resting after countless adventures here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Located near snowmobile , orv trails (no trailering necessary, ride to trails from house), Michigamme River, fishing, hunting, swimming, hiking trails and wildlife preserve. Storage for snowmobile and outdoor gear in the basement with additional entrance to this area. Parking for trailers. Grill/fire pit

Cozy cabin in Channing, MI

Enjoy Upper Michigan's beauty in this cozy cabin in the woods. Located on 80 acres this property has over 2 miles of nature trails. Head down to Sawyer Lake just a 1/4 mile down the road. If you love to fish, you're in luck. The Michigamme river is just a few miles away. This one-bedroom cabin has a bunk room and a pull-out couch. One of my favorite features is the wood stove. It really warms you up on a chilly day. A great place to stay for a family get-away or a group of friends.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Michigamme River Retreat

45' of river property facing the beautiful sunsets. Centrally located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for magical day trips to Marquette, Munising, Copper Harbor, Iron Mountain, etc. Waterfalls, hiking, fire pit with firewood provided, sauna, computer and charging station, DVD player, dishwasher, coffee and staples provided. Cabin is located right in the town of Republic, within walking distance to a small store, bar, restaurant, Antique store (limited hours) and churches.

My Mother's House

Come and enjoy the beauty I grew up with on the Michigamme River in Michigan's gorgeous Upper Peninsula. Spend your time on the property reading a book and soaking in the view, or enjoy a short trip to a nearby lake for kayaking, fishing or boating. In the winter months, Republic is a hub for snowmobilers with easy access to trails leading in any direction.

Little Bear Basic Getaway

This little house with starklink internet is a great starting point to explore the outdoors while staying connected. Nearby you'll find the Michigamme river (swim, kayak, and fish), the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, and other trails (walking, biking, sxs, and snowmobile) disc golf course, parks, great hunting, wildlife, and museums. A hardware store (premium gas), convince store, local bar (The Pine Grove), and diner (Summer Place) are great places to support in town.

Mini Cabin Tucked Away In Moose Country

Enjoy a cute mini Cabin tucked away in the heart of moose country. Perfect for a couple get away, fishing, ATV riding or heaven for wildlife and dark sky photography. Great location for fishing with Michigamme River just up the road and Lake Michigamme round the corner. If you're into trail riding, Trail5 is a short distance away. The property is incredible for dark sky viewing and if you're lucky, you'll be able to experience the Northern Lights.

Enjoy a serene lake house experience on one of the Upper Peninsula’s largest inland lakes. Lake Michigamme is 4300 acres of water.
