Ranch Lodge For Nature Lovers

This guest lodge at Coyote Bill's Ranch is a nature lover's delight . Relax and watch the horses in the pasture, there are many different birds in the area such as hawks, herons, loons, osprey and even an occasional eagle. Fish for trout in the nearby streams Great hiking and swimming near by as well. The space sleeps four, family style, with 2 single beds and a full sized bed. The bedroom is on the second floor so there is a set of stairs to the second floor, The cost per night includes 2 adults and up to two to three children and pet, or two adults only there is an additional charge of $20 for each additional adult which applies to overnight guests as well. The bunkhouse features one full bath with tub and shower and a kitchenette with microwave, two burner hot plate and under the counter fridge. The bunkhouse has a beautiful view of the horse pastures surrounding the Ranch, a fire pit, a place to bar-b-que, and lots of space to explore. Several wonderful restaurants, including the delicious Lunchbox, Toonies, and the innovative __Short's Brewery__ are nearby. The sparkling Cedar River, a designated Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, is a short walk away. The ranch features five Arabian horses, The pond and stream at the Ranch is home to many species of Native Birds. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs for no additional fee. The ranch sits one mile from downtown Bellaire, home to world famous Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain resorts. Jack Niclaus' The Legend Golf Course and The Weiskoff-designed Golf course are both five minutes away. Coyote Bill's Ranch is also one mile from the rustic Antrim County Airport. Boats, kayaks, and mountain bikes can all be rented in Bellaire. Or, take a short drive to the beautiful Jordan River for canoeing, kayaking and more trout fishing. Voted the third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic, Torch Lake is a quick 15 minutes drive. This lake is home to pristine waters for boating, and other water fun. Boyne City, Gaylord, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey and Mackinaw City are all easily accessible for a day's adventure. Come stay on our ranch and experience good old- fashioned hospitality. Stylish 2-bdrm cottage on Clam Lake with a deck, dock and fire pit. Bring your boat for easy access to Torch Lake and Lake Bellaire. At night grill dinner and enjoy a bonfire. The kitchen is fully equipped, board games are available as well as a 4K TV. The area in front of the cottage is weedy and not conducive to swimming The cottage is "Up North" and there may be swans, other waterfowl and wildlife present at the property during your stay. Please respect them and stay a safe distance away.

With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
