Recently lovingly refurbished to a high standard, the cottage has two double bedrooms upstairs, one with an estuary view, while downstairs you will find a galley kitchen, a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, and a cosy lounge/dining room.

Little Downgate is situated in the pretty village of East Portlemouth looking over towards the famous sailing town of Salcombe. Salcombe can be reached easily by hopping on the foot ferry should you wish and water sports lovers can hire equipment a couple of minutes from the property. The house is comfortable, well equipped and offers parking and a delightful garden.

Nick and Sameena your hosts have recently taken over hosting themselves and will do their very best to make your stay a happy and relaxed time.

Blackberry Cottage is a 300 year old cottage which we have lovingly refurbished into a beautiful cottage for modern living. The spaces are light and airy, the kitchen is south facing and has bifold doors leading out to the patio and garden, bringing the outside in. Blackberry cottage is available on a weekly basis during the school holidays with changeover day being a Friday. Outside school holidays the cottage is available for 3 night minimum stays for your perfect seaside escape.

Sweetsides Shepherds Hut

Stay in a beautiful handcrafted Shepherd's hut with wood burning hot tub, overlooking the rolling Devon hills surrounding the Salcombe Estuary. This hut has been lovingly crafted from reclaimed materials salvaged from the working farm, set amidst an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated in a wild meadow, our two off-grid shepherd's huts both sleep two people and each has a double bed, kitchen, mini-fridge, indoor table & chairs, wood burning stove, fire pit, outdoor seating and great views. A converted horsebox houses a hot shower and compost toilet. Linen and towels are provided. Surrounded by the beautiful South Hams landscapes, the short passenger ferry trip to buzzing Salcombe is just at the bottom of the hill along with four fabulous beaches.
