There is on street parking, a park 2 mins walk away, a bus to Nottingham and Loughborough, pubs & restaurants, and we’re close to East Mids Airport, Donington Park & Willow Marsh Farm. The property is a contemporary studio with living space and kitchenette, separate shower room, king bed and seating area with 3/4 sofa bed (available when booking for 3 or 4 adults). Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
