Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

This cottage is located in a quiet area in the countryside. The cottage itself is situated at the back of the family home and it has beautiful views of Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are approximately 15 minutes drive to the Cliffs of Moher and 7 minutes drive (4.2km) to Doolin village. The town of Lisdoonvarna is nearby. And the beeches of Fanore and Lahinch are about a 15 minute drive away.

Discover the charm of Doolin from this beautifully renovated apartment (2025), ideally situated directly across from Hotel Doolin. With its prime location, you're just a short walk from the lively pubs, renowned for their nightly traditional Irish music sessions, and less than 1 km from Doolin Pier, the gateway to the Aran Islands. The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre is a scenic 10-minute drive away, offering breathtaking coastal views.

Emperor bell tent

All our Emperor Bell Tents are raised off the ground on timber stands. Each tent has a double Mexican pine bed as standard, matching furnishings, semi-orthopedic mattress, bean bags, bed linen, and towels. Additional fold out beds with bed linen can be included on request. At night the tents are lit up inside by our tea light candle chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns, and outside by solar lights. Accommodates between 2 to 5 persons.

While located on a quiet country road within a small group of houses, it is within easy walking distance from gourmet restaurants and pubs which are renowned for their traditional music. There are magnificent views all around and the majestic Cliff of Moher can be seen in the distance.
