The Milking Parlour, Magherabaun, FeakleThe Milking Parlour, Magherabaun is based in a beautiful rural setting, bordered by a stream and open fields but still close to the amenities of Feakle. Based on the East Clare Walk, there is plenty to explore in the area, from the Wild Atlantic Way, the Burren to Lough Derg and Lough Graney for water based activity enthusiasts. We can provide free range eggs from our small flock of chickens and you may see our cheeky Terrier x Rogan and Wisp, our resident cat.
Rural Mountain Retreat - Find yourself in NatureOur home (a working farm) and The Cottages are nestled beneath Ireland's highest mountain, Corrán Tuathail. We are situated on the famous Kerry Way walking route and in the heart of the Reeks District. The collection of houses were some of the last in Ireland to be connected to the electricity grid (in 1978) due to their isolated location in one of Ireland’s most unspoiled valleys on the edge of the Killarney National Park.
Peacock HouseThe Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
