Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Luxuriously appointed, it is the perfect space for couples to relax between exploring all the Adelaide Hills and surrounds has to offer.

Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..

The Gallery at Bella Cosa

On the edge of a forest The Gallery is simply stunning. Soak in the huge freestanding bath while watching your favourite TV show or movie. Its rustic, stylish & fun. Enjoy an open, light-filled space with views of the sky and surrounding landscape. At night, you can see the stars from bed, and in the morning, wake up to natural light . Its a simple and comfortable way to experience nature while still having all the essential you need.
