Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Our peaceful 1-bedroom guest suite has everything you need for your Dannevirke stay. We provide free continental breakfast. This family friendly two storey house is situated in the heart of Woodville. This home away from home is full of character and comfort and includes modern necessities such as Wifi. There is great indoor-outdoor flow to the private patio which catches all day sun. Woodville has several cafes, antique shops, fish & chips, tavern, petrol station/EV charger and a Four Square. Close by are walking/cycling paths, bush walks, the Tui Brewery and popular trout fishing rivers.

You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). This is a great Digital Nomad option - with ski fields within 2.5 hours. I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).

The Cottage

A private self contained cottage in a rural setting. This restored 1930's cottage is very cosy and comfortable. A heat pump is available for those chilly nights. The Cottage is located on a lifestyle block approximately 14 km from the centre of Palmerston North. The cottage looks out over a pond and paddocks with ducks and sheep. Guest access is by keypad on the main entry gate to the property.
