Lu Zhu Caboose

Perched up on the cliff, over-looking the Fraser River, our luxury train caboose is surrounded by a rhododendron forest. Conveniently located on highway #7, we are easily accessible and at the door step of endless outdoor adventures. We have our own private hiking trails that wind up the mountain side, crossing creeks, waterfalls and passing many varietals of rhododendrons amongst the lush, natural forest. There are multiple gazebos, look-outs and the higher up you go, the quieter it is.

Private Modern Treehouse on Highland Farm

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Welcome to the Vedder River Retreat! We’re 15 min away from Cultus Lake, 25 min away from Chilliwack lake and nestled amongst endless hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures that await you! Have a fire during campfire season or kick back beside the creek right outside the patio door and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the river! Our cabin is geared towards couples, but we do have a pull out couch to accommodate small families as well! We look forward to hosting you!

As a farm and since we live on site, our suite will still be allowed under BC's new AirBnB restrictions. With its own private entrance, this bright, south facing suite offers 2 acres of outdoor space with views of Mount Baker from our partially covered patio. Hike one of the nearby trails, feed our chickens, ducks or goats, or just watch the grass grow. Ask about seasonal homestead workshops like making cheese or picking your own apples and making fresh cider.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. We have created an Off Grid Retreat to focus on several key elements - sustainability, the importance of our environment, and experiencing the world around us which often is muted by the rush of our daily lives. Our number one goal is to provide a memorable and relaxing stay, that helps guests disconnect from the stresses of everyday life, and experience the farm lifestyle.

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

Mountain Nest

Kick back and relax in our beautiful spacious guest suite! Enjoy a wood fire pit area with a gorgeous view of the valley and city lights. Watch our amazing sunsets with a cozy wood fire, then hop in your covered private Hottub once the suns gone for the most relaxing evening!
