This 400 year old home is tucked away down a small lane away from the main road and enjoys both privacy and tranquillity but with the convenience of being central. As you step through the front door of Weaver's, its innate charm and character will sweep you into another time zone. This beautiful and peaceful cottage sits in a private estate and is an ideal retreat for a family or group of friends wanting to explore Kestor, Fernworthy, the far reaching moors or visit the beautiful village of Chagford with all its local amenities. Watch the sunrise over the ever dominant Meldon Hill with coffee before setting off to explore for the day. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a log burner, a cosy sitting room with a fire and there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

We are 5 minutes from the A30 making it the perfect location to stop off on the way to and from Cornwall, or to explore the moors and best of Devon Being part of the hotel, you can also make use of our facilities and enjoy AA rosette meals if you wish!

It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
