Situated in Mid Cornwall, Birdsong Lodge is a traditional open plan log cabin, hidden away in a private location, surrounded by trees and shrub borders, creating a secluded ‘away from it all’ atmosphere. One bedroom apartment within 2 minute walk from Carlyon Bay Hotel and Spa, 18 hole cliff top golf course and stunning 2 mile long beach with Pop up bars, Restaurants and Water Sports Center (high season only). Charlestown Harbour with many pubs and restaurants is a 20 minute walk along the cliff path or 5 minute drive away. Eden Project is a 10 minute drive away. The area is perfect for Paddle boarding, kayaking, open water swimming and snorkeling. Local groups welcome tourists to join in.

Krowji means ‘cottage’ or ‘cabin’ in Cornish and is a timber-framed single-storey build next to our 300 year old cottage. A cosy, yet light and airy retreat for two, Krowji is located at the end of a private lane in Carlyon Bay, just a 20 minute walk from the bustling historic harbour of Charlestown. Krowji offers off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed outdoor courtyard with seating areas. * Please note, although at the end of a quiet lane, we are next to the main rail line.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Relax in our cosy cottage just a 5-minute stroll down to Charlestown’s beautiful Georgian harbour—UNESCO-listed and full of Cornish charm. Take a stroll to the beach to take in the sunset within five minutes of your doorstep, with two beaches, great pubs, and fantastic restaurants nearby. Famous for filming of Poldark and Pirates of the Caribbean, the harbour is rich in history and character. Perfect for couples, families, and friends, with stunning coastal walks on your doorstep.

Connie's Cottage, Charlestown

For just two people, Connie's Cottage stands within 250 metres of Charlestown's famous harbour and beaches and of the South West Coast Path. Stone built and with many original beams and slate floors the cottage is very characterful but has been sympathetically modernised and includes gas fired central heating. There is non-restricted car parking available immediately to the rear of the cottage however in high season it may be necessary to park in the nearby pay car park.

Periwinkle is a cosy harbourside cottage in Charlestown. It is surprisingly big on the inside with an open plan layout on the ground floor with kitchen, dining area and lounge plus a downstairs shower room. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom with a king-size bed, a lovely bathroom and another lounge taking advantage of the beautiful harbour and sea views. Private courtyard garden with laundry and access to the harbour and private parking outside the cottage.

The Studio is a beautifully furnished, light and airy space in the grounds of our home. With far reaching stunning views of the countryside. It is approximately 2 miles from St Austell and convenient for beaches, Eden project, Heligan Gardens, Charlestown and lovely country walks. Due to Covid 19 I have put in an extra precautionary cleaning regime for your safety including the use of UV Disinfectant lamp which will be used between each guests visit.
