Accommodations are spread out between a lodge, a cottage, and the playfully named Old Laundry, all with soft Provençal colors. It’s a short drive to a selection of golf courses, beaches, and wine tastings in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula wine region. The property’s grounds tempt guests outdoors with sculpture and cottage gardens, a tennis court, a 7-acre vineyard, and a vegetable garden teeming with fresh herbs and produce. Walk past the vineyard to spot wallabies in the bush beyond, and fire up the pizza oven and barbecue for lunch and dinner at the alfresco table. The outdoor areas allow groups up to 14 people to gather in one place. Soft tones, natural textures, and bistro-inspired furnishings bring a little bit of France to the interiors of the lodge, cottage, and laundry. Each has its own living area, and there are 2 fully equipped kitchens and a kitchenette for flexibility. For smaller groups, you can reserve just 1 or 2 of the buildings, or all 3 to share the excitement most widely. Spend your holiday teeing off on the 5 golf courses within 30 kilometers, or see a different side of the outdoors on a day trip to Point Nepean National Park. Ocean Farm

Feel the warmth from the crackling fire while you gaze out over the moonlit ocean at this modern farmhouse in Gerringong. Situated 5-minutes from town, and just over an hour from Sydney, this coastal villa enjoys complete seclusion. Wander the on-site trails, explore 200 acres of rainforest, and meet grazing livestock on your way. Follow the coastal walking track, and you’ll be in town in no time. Your surfboard won’t look out of place leaning against the wood-post fence around this farm. In fact, just beyond that fence, a grass track leads to Werri Beach. After a morning swim, head back to Ocean Farm for espresso on the terrace. Work on your tan in a sun lounger by the pool’s edge. Or, enjoy the sea breeze from inside while you catch a rugby game on the projector screen. For lunch, fire up the barbecue in the courtyard and play a round of foosball while you’re waiting for the burgers to get that perfect char. Later, sip local wine while you watch the sunset over endless sea views. The point breaks at either end of Werri Beach are perfect for first-time surfers. In between, a sandy stretch of calm waters awaits for family swimming. And, the shops on the beach’s edge are known for their delicious fish and chips.
