An easy walk to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park & a short drive or bus trip to The Hepworth in Wakefield. The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Refurbished to a high standard retaining many original features, with oak beams & open country views.

Set behind our farm, completely private cabin next to a large well stocked fishing lake, (no additional cost to fish just bring your own rod. Catch and release using our nets). Beautiful countryside views, local walks, cycling, close to local villages and lovely country pubs. Idyllic setting with private hot tub, decking area and gas barbeque to enjoy lovely romantic evenings. Hot tub cleaned between every client with fresh water. Ideal for paddle boarding and kayaking( equipment not provided).

Relax in this peaceful location. Hemingbrough is a small village with easy access to York, Leeds and Hull. The village has a pub which is within easy walking distance as well as local shops. There is a farmshop nearby which sells good Yorkshire produce to take away and also has a restaurant. York is 20 minutes away with its impressive Minster and other attractions including 2 theaters. A number of historic houses are close by which makes the Annexe a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Yingyangpad - wheelchair/accessible accommodation
WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

Dining room with a beautiful 17th century dining table leads to a living room with media wall & water vapour fire. The patio garden with BBQ firepit, water feature & dart board. Upstairs four stylish bedrooms each with TV's and projectors. Two showers, a bath and two toilets help allow you move through your Yorkshire stay with ease.

The Tower
The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Available for single night stays. Discounts on 3+ nights bookings.

The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

‘The Apple Chamber’ is a two-bed apartment (double bed and sofa bed) in a delightful 16th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse, situated in the semi-rural village of Hatfield Woodhouse. In years gone by, the Apple Chamber was the farm’s servant’s quarters as well as being used to store fruit through winter, which is where the name originates. It has now undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to provide modern self-contained accommodation with plenty of character.
