Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

Once a humble fisherman's terraced house, it has been lovingly renovated to blend charm with modern comforts. Croi na Darach is a private, cozy, bright timber cabin. It is set in a large wild garden next to the river Slaney, about 5 km from Wexford town. It is a perfect spot to unwind, relax and connect with nature. If you ever wanted to finish that chapter, paint that picture or just take some time for yourself this is the perfect place for you. It is an ideal location for exploring the Sunny South East , enjoying a romantic getaway or even treating yourself to that artistic retreat !

Surrounded by gorgeous rural setting with views of farmland and sea in the distance with a taste of Irish small town charm .Local village is a 10 minute walk with a great pub that has talented musicians on selected nights .Wexford town is a 25 minute drive but there is local link bus that runs 10 times a day for a modest fee. A car is highly recommend for your stay 😊
