Gone Fishing

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. In our fully functional 3 bedroom home. You are literally a stones throw away from the beach that has one of NZs best sunsets. If bush walks are your thing , we have some easy but delightful walks from half hour upto 3 hour walks. Okarito has guided Kiwi tours, hire Kayaks or go on the world famous guided boat tour. Okarito offers great sea fishing or fresh water fishing. The top story is the private dwelling of the owner.

Beautiful, small but comfortable cottage close to the Tasman sea, native bush and Ōkārito Lagoon. Open plan kitchen/living area with well equipped kitchen and a very efficient wood burning fire. Short stairs leading down to bathroom and bedroom. Queen bedroom with french doors leading out onto private deck area. Amazing views of the southern alps from different points in and around the house. This is a unique space with a homely feel by the sea in a friendly and welcoming community.

Downstairs is a bedroom, bathroom and then a few steps down brings you into a converted garage that is the third bedroom, complete with a dart board. There is space for people to hang out downstairs playing darts, or you can sit and admire the views from the living area upstairs.
