The heating and cooling is an in-wall unit as well as a space heater. It's situated on a pond across a foot bridge from the barn. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and cared for by the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM), the Cove Point Lighthouse historic site has been lovingly restored and re-purposed so that it can be enjoyed by all. The active lighthouse and keeper's home sit on a seven-acre point of land in one of the narrowest points of the Chesapeake Bay.

Towerhouse was featured in the magazine Utah Syle and design when it was built in 1996. At the time it was cutting edge with it's use of green materials, radiant heat and unique architecture.
