Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Rose Cottage - Coastal, Rural & Cosy! NC500

Situated in North West Scottish Highlands approximately 80 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, 10 minutes walk from the local beach and a short drive to Mellon Udrigle a sensationally beautiful beach. It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.

Braes Retreat - Garden Apartment

Braes Retreat is a garden apartment tucked away in the peaceful community of Braes. Just six miles out of Portree, its central location on the island is an ideal base to visit the whole of the Isle of Skye. The apartment sits in an established garden, overlooking the Sound of Raasay, with shore access from the croft. This is a self-contained annex that is ideal for a couple but it is not suitable for children of any age. Guests have access to a kitchen with a range of facilities, with seating area. Although open-plan, there is a separate area for sitting and relaxing. The property has off-street parking and has its own private entrance. The East Wing is within easy walking distance to all amenities in the village and only 3 streets back from the shore.

Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.
