The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

Misty Mountain Hut - Ruapehu

Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.
