You will experience our finely furnished family home with modern technology & conveniences, originally the one-room North Round Prairie country school from 1875 to 1945. Deluxe features include nature trails, wildflowers, sitting areas, full garage access, and a working cattle farm provide a one-of-a-kind, quality experience. A 3rd bedroom suite upstairs was added in '22!

Tiny Home Cabin - No Cleaning Fee

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. It maybe small at 375 sf, but it has all the features of most hotels with one queen bed and a full bed in the loft. Located near downtown Springfield, IL and many Abraham Lincoln attractions. Deer often walk around the property which is on a quiet dead-end residential street. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook meals. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, and extra pillows. Watch Netflix, Hulu, and Disney also.

Renovated Retreat

This newly renovated 3BR/2BA home has all the amenities of home—a large and beautiful kitchen/dining area, ample seating in living area, master en-suite with king bed. All bedrooms have new memory foam mattresses. Completely fenced in back and side yard. Cleaned and sanitized with non-toxic cleaners and no perfumes or artificial scents for the allergy sensitive. We have meticulously renovated this property in 2020 with our guests in mind. We hope you will find it a calm and peaceful respite

We are 30 minutes from Springfield, 15 minutes from Jacksonville and in the middle of Abe Lincoln territory and historical markers. The loft is also surrounded by lovely wineries and wildlife parks. Audrey’s Abode is just the place you have been looking for to relax and reconnect with family, friends, nature and a simpler time. Located on a 7 acre hobby farm just south of Jacksonville, Illinois (30 minutes west of Springfield), Audrey’s Abode is a fully restored historic log cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Need additional space? Check out our other listing next door - Bunkhouse Seventy-Four. Pets are welcome but we charge a $35 pet cleaning fee.

Opera House Suite 1

Newly constructed guest accommodations on second floor of the historic J.E. Meyer 1888 Opera House. We are located just two blocks from the scenic Illinois River and Havana's Riverfront Park and its walking paths. Your retired from the local newspaper and the Opera House office is below. They liveclose by for after hours contact. The suite includes a full kitchen and groceries are just a block away, or enjoy the neighborhood restaurants and shopping, all in easy walking distance.

The Flat

A historic mid-1800’s building on the Petersburg Square! Guests will enjoy the entire apartment-loft which includes private Queen bedroom and private bath. The main living area features a full kitchen, dishwasher, 1/2 bath and washer & dryer. Accommodates up to six guests (airbeds, sofa bed pull out). Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, or marijuana) is not permitted inside the space. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees.

The Purple Awning House at Lincoln Park

Charming two bedroom apartment overlooking scenic Lincoln Park. The only person closer to Abe will be Mary. Whether you are traveling solo or as part of a group, the Purple Awning House's spacious bedrooms, comfortable couch and a large inflatable bed (if needed) ensures everyone will have a good night's rest. * Note that this is a main floor apartment with another separate apartment upstairs (different entry). Please smoke outside and do not bring the butts inside.
