Anglesea is a beautiful coastal town surrounded by National Parks, beaches, river, walking/cycling tracks not to mention the quality local eateries and 18 hole golf course. This large and exclusive guest suite is perfect for a couples retreat, a change of scenery to get some work done or a place to recharge the batteries. You are sure to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. Only 3km from shops, 2km from golf club and 3km from Point Roadknight beach.

The Hideaway Shack.

Located just 100m from Anglesea Main Beach, our home is perfectly located for your coastal getaway. This hidden gem is tucked away with ample outdoor space to relax in privacy, and also just a minutes walk to great coffee. The house is made up of 3 bedrooms (2 queens + 1 King beds). Filled with art, books, a big comfy couch and fireplace for and wood fired oven on the new large private deck. We are family friendly, but ask that you respect all of the pieces we have left there for your to enjoy.

The unit has vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, a complete kitchen with dishwasher. In winter the wood fire place keeps the place cosy. In summer the balcony is a favorite place for breakfast, watching numerous native birds. Within a few minutes drive you will reach the center of Geelong, Deakin Uni, and the 3 major hospitals of Geelong. It's an easy drive to beautiful beaches, including the Great Ocean Road. To keep the building sustainable, there is solar hot water & power & rain tanks.

The property is set high with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and everything needed to relax and recharge. Centrally located, it is only 25-40 mins from Lorne, Torquay, Anglesea, Birregurra, Geelong and the attractions of the Great Ocean Road. Three hat restaurant Brae is also close by. Note: The studio is attached to our house, you may hear general life kitchen/tv noise, but you have a private entrance and secluded easterly deck. Tennis court available to use. Dog friendly. PLEASE - dog bath before arrival, bring a towel for muddy paws.
