This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. A self catering pod in a quiet area, five minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach on the west coast of South Uist. Close to the renowned golf course designed by old Tom Morris. Great for local Trout, Salmon & Sea Trout fishing and a great base for those who like hillwalking. Listen to the corncrake call from the outside picnic bench. Bicycles can be stored in the shed. Loch Bracadale House. 3-bedroom sea view cottage.

Relax at this beautiful and peaceful cottage. Loch Bracadale Cottage next door can also be found on Airbnb. The house has 2 bedrooms with sleeping for up to 4 persons. The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set on a working croft with cows and Monty our Bull (he friendly!!) and we will let you met him. There are our sheep to see along with the chicken and the resident dogs Ben and Lewis who love walking down to the beach with you. The caravan is well located is between the hebridean way and the arterial road, with plenty parking space behind it
