Welcome to your own hideaway garden studio with it's own private entrance. This studio has 1 Queen bed and a private bathroom. There is a bar area with a mini fridge, microwave and toaster. French doors open to a redwood deck and garden as well as views of Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach. We are located in Sutro Heights, and are within a few minutes of the French Legion of Honor Museum, the Academy of Sciences Museum, and the DeYoung Museum. Our light-filled lower level suite has been fully remodeled (completed Feb 2019) and includes two bedrooms (up to 4 Queen beds), a large media room with a fold-out couch bed, and one full bathroom. Total space is approximately 1000 square feet with a private entrance. Amenities include all the perks of our media room and a kitchenette. We wash all linens included Duvet covers between guests. if the walls of the Monte Cristo Bed & Breakfast could talk, what stories they could tell, for this remarkable building has been a part of San Francisco since 1875. Originally built as a bordello and saloon. In the 1920s, it served as a speakeasy. When the great fire swept the city after the 1906 earthquake, homes were put to the torch on Van Ness Avenue to create a firebreak, and the Saloon not only survived, it served as a refuge for the newly post-quake homeless.
