Welcome to the cutest little house ever! Our goal is to make you as comfortable as we can, yet we promise not to bother you during your stay. Your pups are welcome. There is a small pet fee and we ask, "Please include pets in your reservation." This is a very quiet neighborhood where you may want to go for a walk, visit the park or even better, check out the many exciting happenings going on all around you! Our house is right next door and across the street from our house is Seabreeze Park.

Fishing is good and there’s plenty of cool restaurants and antique shops in the area. Our little cabin is just down the street from the Bay. La Porte is about halfway between Galveston and Houston. Back bedroom with Queen size bed. Middle bedroom with Queen size bed. And one person can sleep on the leather sofa.

The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
