From there take a short (but somewhat steep) walk or an elevator to the tippity top! You'll also find restrooms, overpriced food and a gift shop nestled at the top of this incredible mountain view.

If you are itching to get out on that pristine looking lake, never fear, there are rental options available. A huge variety Kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals are available at the Schroon Lake Marina! Multi-day rentals are also available.

Stewart's is "just a gas station", but it's also a local favorite for some of the best ice cream you'll find anywhere in the world (we may be slightly biased). It's also just a nice and clean stop for gas and if you step in side, it is typically well stocked with useful shopping items.

Schroon Lake is a small town and as such, our local businesses often have modified hours of operation. In the summer, you'll likely not have any issues, however, in the off-season you may find certain local business take a day off or two during the week.
