It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century.
