Occasionally there will be farriers making shoes and wrought iron pieces. You will see evidence of this around the garden with beautiful horseshoe balls.

Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away.
