We are a 2-minute walk from Llanbister Road train station on the scenic Heart of Wales line.We are on the 825 cycle route. Y Ffau is set in its own garden space with a permanent fence and an outdoor patio/seating area. Situated on the outskirts of the lovely town of Knighton, ideally placed for countryside walks and exploring Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre with its cute little shops and plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Makes the perfect base for exploring the area. PLEASE NOTE there is no cooker installed. Alternatives are provided. Not suitable for children.

With the church of St Marys and the battle site of 1402 and a the remains of a Saxon castle all at the bottom of hill at Pilleth. The market towns of Presteigne and Knighton 6 miles, Hay on wye, Ludlow, Bishops castle and the Elan Valley 20 miles.

Suran-y-coed lodge is located in an isolated valley, with a private hot tub to enjoy great views of the open hills, dark night skies for stargazing, and stillness to listen to the bird song. Relax in your own garden . We ask our guests to be mindful of our family farm with young children and no parties after 10pm to maintain the peace and tranquilly of our valley. There are electric car charging points 9 & 13 miles drive from the farm, no charging from the lodge to the car is permitted.

Kick back and relax in front of the cosy log burner, explore by foot with an abundance of walks on your doorstep or take a short drive to Ludlow and discover boutique shops, explore the historic castle and sample foodie delights at the Ludlow Farmshop. For keen walkers the famous Offa's Dyke is less than 7 miles away.

Our eco house is a relaxed and comfortable place to stay in the beautiful & unspoilt Welsh Borders. We have a large garden growing most of our fruit & vegetables, our own chickens and provide free cider while stocks last. Please understand that we are a traditional bed and breakfast establishment. I know that the listing states that a whole flat or house is available, it is not. Unfortunately AirB&B insist that we put this otherwise it on will only list one bedroom.
