Fish, hike, climb cliffs, swimming holes, explore. In winter, cross-country ski, snow shoe (provided), snow mobile. The cottage sleeps 6 inside (1 queen bed & 2 sofa beds). Guests may also enjoy the small shack with single bed, on top of the hill, offering unobstructed mountain views. Hiking trails and horseback riding nearby.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
